Founded in the vibrant coastal city of Udupi, Karnataka, Udupi Game Workshop has grown from a small team of passionate game developers into one of India's most innovative game studios. Meet Our TeamUdupi Game Workshop was founded by three game development enthusiasts with a vision to create mobile games with Indian themes. Our first office was a small rented space in Udupi with just 5 team members.
Released "Mythical Journeys," our first breakout game that achieved over 1 million downloads in six months. This success allowed us to expand our team to 15 members and invest in better development infrastructure.
Our puzzle game "Temple Treasures" won the "Best Mobile Game" award at the India Game Developer Conference. We also established partnerships with international publishers for global distribution.
Launched our AR/VR division and released "Udupi Heritage VR," an educational experience showcasing historical sites of Karnataka. The project received funding support from the Karnataka Digital Media Fund.
Now with a team of 42 professionals, we're working on our most ambitious project yet—a multiplayer RPG set in ancient India. Our games have surpassed 50 million downloads worldwide across all platforms.
